This final chapter contains selected abstracts and a bibliography of FY 2003 publications from scientific journals treating the global observation of ocean heat, carbon, fresh water, and sea level change. A select number of abstracts of particularly relevant scientific papers are presented first, chosen by the principal investigators (PI) of the science projects funded by NOAA’s Office of Climate Observation.
